Abstract

Desa Lebani Suko termasuk daerah kawasan Gresik Selatan yang merupakan daerah
yang memiliki potensi tinggi terhadap banjir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui
bagaimana karakteristik banjir di Desa Lebani Suko dan bagaimana pendekatan
konsep Water Sensitive Urban Design dalam penanganannya. Metode yang
digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis skoring dan komparatif. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik genangan terdapat di RW II dan RW IV dengan
nilai rendah sebesar 62.5. RW I dan RW III dengan nilai sebesar 85 yaitu RW I dan
RW III. Lokasi yang mengalami genangan tersebut memiliki topografi lebih rendah
daripada lokasi lainnya, sehingga diperlukan penanganan banjir dengan konsep water
sensitive urban design (WSUD). Karakteristik WSUD di Desa Lebani Suko yaitu
buffer strips, filtration, networked public open spaces, drainage Corridors, natural
drainage, setbacks, buffer zones, road alligment, dan roadside detention. Dari
karakteristik tersebut, maka konsep WSUD yang dapat diterapkan di Desa Lebani
Suko adalah dengan mengembangkan vegetasi yang dilengkapi dengan jalur pejalan
kaki, pembangunan taman dan lapangan, pembangunan ponds pada muara drainase,
normalisasi sungai dan himbauan larangan membuang sampah di sungai, penggunaan
permeable pavement, perlebaran jalan, detention pond (kering) dan parit filtrasi

ABSTRACT
Lebani Suko Village is included in the South Gresik area which is an area that has a
high potential for flooding. The purpose of this study was to find out the
characteristics of flooding in Lebani Suko Village and how to approach the concept
of Water Sensitive Urban Design in handling it. The method used is descriptive
qualitative with scoring and comparative analysis techniques. The results showed
that the inundation characteristics were found in RW II and RW IV with a low value
of 62.5. RW I and RW III with a value of 85, namely RW I and RW III. Locations that
experience inundation have lower topography than other locations, so flood
management is needed with the concept of water sensitive urban design (WSUD). The
characteristics of WSUD in Lebani Suko Village are buffer strips, filtration,
networked public open spaces, drainage corridors, natural drainage, setbacks, buffer
zones, road alignment, and roadside detention. From these characteristics, the
WSUD concept that can be applied in Lebani Suko Village is by developing
vegetation equipped with pedestrian paths, building parks and fields, building ponds
at drainage estuaries, normalizing rivers and calling for a ban on throwing garbage
in rivers, using permeable pavement, road widening, detention pond (dry) and
filtration ditch.
