Nur Khalimatus Sa`diyah, 2023, Penyisihan Mikroplastik pada Air Permukaan di Perairan Ekowisata Mangrove Menggunakan Filtrasi Media, Skripsi, Program studi : Teknik Lingkungan, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya, Dosen pembimbing : Dra. Sri Widyastuti, S.T., M.Si.

ABSTRACT
Nur Khalimatus Sa`diyah, 2023, Removal of Microplastics in Surface Water in Mangrove Ecotourism Waters Using Media Filtration, Thesis, Study program : Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya, Supervisor : Dra. Sri Widyastuti, S.T., M.Sc.
Several studies have been carried out to reduce microplastics in water bodies, one of which is by using filtration. Sampling was carried out at Ecotourism Mangrove Wonorejo, Rungkut District, Surabaya City. Sampling was carried out at two points, namely near settlements and estuaries. The method used to remove microplastics is by using a multimedia filtration method with control media, namely silica sand measuring 4-8 mesh with a height of 10 cm, zeolite measuring 14-20 mesh with a height of 10 cm, activated carbon measuring 6-12 mesh with a height of 20 cm and gravel measuring 3 cm high by 10 cm and the addition of media varied in the form of sand with a height of 20 cm and 10 mesh shells with a height of 20 cm. The results showed that the efficiency for reducing microplastics was greatest, namely 66% in column 2 in sample 2 with the addition of shellfish shell variation media. The most common microplastics found in sample 1 and sample 2 were fiber types, but the most commonly derived microplastics in this study were granule and pellet type plastic particles and fragment type microplastics.
