Abstrak
Penelitian membahas terkait pengaruh dari dari struktur modal terhadap persistensi laba, dan pengaruh intellectual capital dalam memoderasi pengaruh struktur modal terhadap persistensi laba. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 11 perusahaan yang tergabung di IDX Qualitty30 Periode Efektif Konstituen 03 Februari sampai dengan 02 Agustus 2023, dimana sampel diambil dengan metode purposive. Analisis data yang dipakai adalah Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian struktur modal tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan persistensi laba jika tidak ada variabel lain, dan dapat mempengaruhi secara posistif dan signifikan dengan adanya intellectual capital. Interaksi antara struktur modal dan intellectual capital mempengaruhi secara negatif signifikan persistensi laba, serta intellectual capital dapat memoderasi pengaruh dari struktur modal terhadap persistensi laba.

The Role of Intellectual Capital in Moderating the Effect of Capital Structure on Earnings Persistence

Abstract
Research discusses the influence of capital structure on earnings persistence, and the influence of intellectual capital in moderating the effect of capital structure on earnings persistence. The research sample consisted of 11 companies incorporated in IDX Quality30 Constituent Effective Period February 3 to August 2 2023, where samples were taken using a purposive method. The data analysis used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the SPSS 26.0 application. The results of the capital structure study do not significantly affect earnings persistence if there are no other variables, and can positively and significantly influence the presence of intellectual capital. The interaction between capital structure and intellectual capital has a significant negative effect on earnings persistence, and intellectual capital can moderate the effect of capital structure on earnings persistence.
