Abstract

Lerak (Sapindus rarak), Pegagan (Centella asiatica), dan minyak biji mimba (Azadirachta indica, A. Juss) mengandung senyawa Asiatic acid dan saponin berfungsi sebagai spermisida dan antimikroba. Spermisida dikatakan berhasil yaitu selain dapat mencegah fertilisasi juga harus memenuhi syarat aman, tidak toksik, dan tidak menimbulkan iritasi jika digunakan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui potensi nanoemulgel herbal spermisida kombinasi ekstrak n-butanol pegagan. ekstrak n-butanol lerak dan minyak biji mimba terhadap fertilitas mencit betina. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Analisis data menggunakan uji Ch-Square dan uji ANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD.Perlakuan nanoemulgel + nonoxynol 0,5%, Formulasi A, Formulasi B, dan Formulasi C berdampak positif terhadap penurunan fertilisas mencit.
Lerak (Sapindus rarak), Centella asiatica (Centella asiatica), and neem seed oil (Azadirachta indica, A. Juss) contain Asiatic acid and saponins which function as spermicides and antimicrobials. Spermicide is said to be successful, in addition to being able to prevent fertilization, it must also meet the requirements of being safe, non-toxic, and non-irritating if used for a long time. The aim of this study was to determine the potency of the herbal spermicidal nanoemulgel combined with n-butanol gotu kola extract. lerak n-butanol extract and neem seed oil on the fertility of female mice. This research is experimental using a completely randomized design (CRD). Data analysis used the Ch-Square test and ANOVA test followed by the LSD test. Treatment of nanoemulgel + 0.5% nonoxynol, Formulation A, Formulation B, and Formulation C had a positive impact on decreasing the fertility of mice.
