EFEKTIVITAS EKSTRAK DAUN INSULIN (Smallanthus sonchifolius), BUAH MENGKUDU (Morinda citrifolia L), DAN KOMBINASI KEDUA EKSTRAK SEBAGAI PENURUN KADAR GULA DARAH DAN PENINGKAT KUALITAS SPERMATOZOA MENCIT ( Mus musculus L) DIABETES

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan gangguan hiperglikemia dan intoleransi glukosa yang disebabkan kekurangan insulin atau gangguan efektivitas kerja insulin. Diabetes Melitus saat ini menjadi salah satu ancaman kesehatan global. Berdasarkan penyebabnya, Diabetes Melitus diklasifikasikan menjadi 4 kelompok, yaitu : DM tipe 1, DM tipe 2, DM gestasional, dan DM tipe lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas kombinasi kedua ekstrak, yaitu Daun Insulin (Smallanthus sonchifolius) dan buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia L) sebagai penurun kadar gula darah dan peningkat kualitas spermatozoa (Mus muculus L) yang Diabetes dengan dosis yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimental ini dilakukan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 12 perlakuan dengan 3 pengulangan. kelompok perlakuan (tiap kelompok 3 ekor) dan 3 kelompok kontrol (tiap kelompok 3ekor). Sebelum diberikan perlakukan, semua mencit diukur kadar gula darahnya. Setelah diinjeksi aloksan mencit diukur lagi kadar gula darahnya, dan akan diukur lagi setelah diberikan perlakuan pemberian ekstrak. Pemberian kombinasi ekstrak daun insulin (Smallanthus sonchifolius) dosis 125 mg/kg BB dan ekstrak buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia L) dosis 50 mg/kg BB berpotensi paling baik memperbaiki kerusakan viabilitas sel spermatozoa mencit ( Mus Muscullus L).

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disorder of hyperglycemia and glucose intolerance caused by insulin deficiency or impaired insulin effectiveness. Diabetes mellitus is currently one of the global health threats. Based on the cause, Diabetes Mellitus is classified into 4 groups, namely: Type 1 DM, Type 2 DM, gestational DM, and other types of DM. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the combination of the two extracts, namely Insulin leaf (Smallanthus sonchifolius) and mengkudu fruit (Morinda citrifolia L) as a blood sugar level reducer and sperm quality enhancer (Mus muculus L) with Diabetes at different doses. This study used experimental research conducted using a complete randomized design (RAL) 12 treatments with 3 repetitions. treatment groups (each group of 3 heads) and 3 control groups (each group of 3 heads). Before treatment, all mice were measured for blood sugar levels. After being injected with alloxan, the blood sugar levels were measured again, and will be measured again after being given the extract treatment. Giving a combination of insulin leaf extract (Smallanthus sonchifolius) dose of 125 mg/kg BW and noni fruit extract (Morinda citrifolia L) dose of 50 mg / kg BW has the best potential to repair damage to sperm cell viability of mice (Mus Muscullus L).
