ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA SMA DITINJAU DARI SELF-EFFICACY

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam memaparkan ide maupun hasil dari sebuah persoalan matematika baik secara tulisan maupun lisan yang bertujuan untuk menyampaikan kepada orang lain secara jelas dan lugas. Dalam memaparkan ide atau solusi siswa diharapkan memiliki keyakinan yang penuh sehingga apa yang di sampaikan dapat dipahami oleh orang lain. Hat tersebut didasarkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis berkaitan dengan tingkat self efficacy siswa.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis terkait self efficacy siswa SMA yang ada di daerah Sidoarjo dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang dimiliki. Serta mendeskripsikan hasil terkait tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan tingkatan self efficacy siswa SMA.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengambilan angket self efficacy siswa, wawancara, dan instrument tes yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa siswa dengan tingkat self efficacy tinggi memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang tinggi dan dapat menyelesaikan persoalan matematika dengan baik sesuai dengan indikator. Dan siswa dengan tingkat self efficacy sedang menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang cukup baik, serta siswa dengan tingkat self efficacy rendah cenderung rendah pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis.
Mathematical communication skills are students' ability to explain ideas and results from a mathematical problem both in writing and orally with the aim of conveying it to others clearly and directly. When presenting ideas or solutions, students are expected to have full confidence so that what is conveyed can be understood by others. This hat is based on mathematical communication skills related to students' level of self-efficacy.
This research aims to analyze the self-efficacy of high school students in the Sidoarjo area with their mathematical communication skills. As well as describing the results related to the level of students' mathematical communication skills and the level of self-efficacy of high school students.
The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were taking student self-efficacy questionnaires, interviews, and test instruments used to determine students' mathematical communication abilities. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it was found that students with a high level of self-efficacy have high mathematical communication skills and can solve mathematical problems well according to the indicators. And students with a moderate level of self-efficacy show quite good mathematical communication skills, and students with a low level of self-efficacy tend to have low mathematical communication skills.
