Abstract

This study aims to explore the schemas of prospective student teachers (S-1 PGSD) PGRI Adi Buana University of Surabaya in problem solving geometry. Research subjects were students in 2007, amounting to force 48 people. By using task analysis, a students schemas can be classified in 2 parts ie. complete and partial schemas. The schema is said complete if the student concepts and mathematical principle used to solve the problem geometry and partial if not able to solve the problem. Research has shown that the scheme developed by the students complete, always used the diagram and solution the problems that are not asked.
