METODE KAIZEN DAN SEVEN TOOLS QUALITY UNTUK MENGURANGI REJECT POWDER GRANULE PADA PROSES STARUP DRYING PT. SPK

ABSTRAK

Industri saat ini dituntut untuk terus meningkatkan produktivitas dan memperbaiki kinerja agar dapat bersaing. PT. X merupakan industri yang memproduksi Non Dairy Creamer (NDC) dengan berbagai variasi seperti 32F, 33V, dan 3M. Dalam proses produksinya, PT. X menghadapi masalah cacat produk sebanyak 32.228 kg akibat tercampurnya Granule pada powder selama proses startup spray drying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimalisir adanya Granule saat proses startup dengan menggunakan model Kaizen. Metode Kaizen diharapkan dapat mengurangi limbah produksi dan memperbaiki sistem serta kinerja pekerja untuk menjaga kualitas produk. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat teoritis dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan serta manfaat praktis bagi pemerintah dan peneliti selanjutnya sebagai referensi dalam analisis Granule yang tercampur pada powder spray dengan pendekatan model Kaizen di PT. X.

ABSTRACK

The current industrial landscape demands continuous improvement in productivity and performance to stay competitive. PT. X is an industry that produces Non Dairy Creamer (NDC) in various types such as 32F, 33V, and 3M. During its production process, PT. X encountered a defect issue of 32,228 kg due to the mixing of Granule s with powder during the startup process of spray drying. This study aims to minimize the presence of Granule s during the startup process using the model. The Kaizen method is expected to reduce production waste and improve both the system and worker performance to maintain product quality. The results of this study are anticipated to provide theoretical benefits in the development of knowledge and practical benefits for the government and future researchers as a reference for the analysis of Granule mixing in powder spray using the Kaizen model at PT. X.
