Abstract
Anggrek bulan (Phalaenopsis amabilis) adalah salah satu genus anggrek yang memiliki daya tarik tersendiri. Keragaman warna, bentuk dan tekstur, serta aromanya menjadikan anggrek bulan sebagai salah satu bunga terindah. Pakis mengandung unsur Nitrogen (N), Karbon (C), Hidrogen (H), dan silika. Batok kelapa mengandung unsur karbohitrat (K), fosfor (P), natrium (Na) dan magnesium (Mn). Bawang merah (Allium cepa) mengandung unsur Kalium (K), Kalsium (Ca), Nitrogen (N), Fosfor (P), Zat besi (Fe), Mangan (Mg), Magnesium (Mn), dan Seng (Zn). Sedangkan untuk senyawa kimia non-gizi meliputi hormon auksin dan giberelin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), yang terdiri dari 18 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Parameter pertumbuhan yang diamati adalah jumlah daun, luas daun, panjang akar, berat tanaman, dan survival rate. Berdasakan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa pemberiann perlakuan media tanam dan POC kulit bawang merah berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan anggrek bulan. Hasil uji Duncan menunjukkan perlakuan M3P4 kombinasi (pakis cacah + batok kelapa) dan POC kulit bawang merah (30%) menghasilkan pertumbuhan terbaik pada parameter panjang akar 5,16 cm dan berat tanaman 2,82 gram. Namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah daun dan luas daun.
Moon orchid (Phalaenopsis amabilis) is a genus of orchids that has its own charm. The diversity of colors, shapes and textures, as well as their aroma make the moon orchid one of the most beautiful flowers. Ferns contain the elements Nitrogen (N), Carbon (C), Hydrogen (H), and silica. Coconut shell contains elements of carbohydrates (K), phosphorus (P), sodium (Na) and magnesium (Mn). ShalPlot (Allium cepa) contains elements of Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mg), Magnesium (Mn), and Zinc (Zn). As for non-nutritional chemical compounds include the hormones auxin and gibberellins. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD), which consisted of 18 treatments and 3 replications. The growth parameters observed were number of leaves, leaf area, root length, plant weight, and survival rate. Based on the results of this study it was concluded that the application of planting media and POC treatment of shallot skins had an effect on the growth of the moon orchids. The results of Duncan's test showed that the combined treatment of M3P4 (chopped fern + coconut shell) and POC shallot skin (30%) resulted in the best growth in the parameters of root length of 5.16 cm and plant weight of 2.82 grams. However, it does not affect the number of leaves and leaf area.
