REGRESI LOGISTIK ORDINAL UNTUK MENGETAHUI FAKTOR YANG BERPENGARUH TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG IMUNISASI BALITA DI SURABAYA (Studi Kasus: Wilayah Kecamatan Gubeng)

Poliomyelitis yang biasa dikenal dengan nama polio merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang berbahaya dan tidak dapat disembuhkan. Virus polio dapat menyebabkan kelumpuhan total bagi para penderitanya. Akan tetapi masih banyak ibu yang memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang tentang virus polio, oleh karena itu tenaga medis menyarankan kepada ibu untuk melakukan imunisasi kepada balita sebagai salah satu bentuk perlindungan dari virus polio. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat karakteristik dan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang polio. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Gubeng Surabaya dan ibu balita sebagai responden dalam penelitian ini. Variabel yang diduga berpengaruh dalam penelitian terdiri dari 8 variabel yaitu status kelengkapan imunisasi polio, status kepatuhan ibu melakukan imunisasi polio, usia ibu, pendidikan ibu, status pendidikan ibu, jumlah anak, pendapatan keluarga dan jarak pelayanan kesehatan dari rumah. Dengan pemilihan metode yaitu Regresi Logistik Ordinal. Setelah dilakukan penelitian maka dapat diketahui karakteristik dari tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi polio yaitu ibu yang memiliki pengetahuan tinggi sebesar 23%, ibu yang memiliki pengetahuan cukup sebesar 60%, ibu yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang sebesar 17%. Sedangkan variabel yang berpengaruh yaitu varibael pendidikan terakhir ibu (X4). Akurasi yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 58,78%.

Poliomyelitis, commonly known as polio, is a dangerous and incurable infectious disease. The polio virus can cause total paralysis for sufferers. However, there are still many mothers who have insufficient knowledge about the polio virus, therefore medical personnel advise mothers to immunize their toddlers as a form of protection from the polio virus. This research was conducted to look at the characteristics and factors that influence the mother's level of knowledge about polio. The research was conducted in Gubeng Subdistrict, Surabaya and mothers under five were the respondents in this study. Variables that were thought to affect the study consisted of 8 variables, namely the status of completeness of polio immunization, the status of compliance with polio immunization, mother's age, mother's education, mother's education status, number of children, family income and distance of health services from home. By selecting the method, namely Ordinal Logistic Regression. After conducting the research, it can be seen that the characteristics of the level of knowledge of mothers about polio immunization are mothers who have high knowledge of 23%, mothers who have sufficient knowledge of 60%, and mothers who have less knowledge of 17%. While the influential variable is the mother's last educational variable (X4). The accuracy obtained is 58.78%.
