Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pematuhan dan
pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam novel Laut Bercerita. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Prinsip Kerja Sama Grice terkait pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama Grice terdapat empat macam maksim yaitu maksim kualitas (MKL), maksim kuantitas (MKN), maksim relevansi (MR), dan maksim cara (MC). Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah berupa novel laut bercerita. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, baca dan catat. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, karena data berupa dialog yang terdapat dalam novel Laut Bercerita.
Hasil penelitian yang telah ditemukan beberapa pematuhan
prinsip kerja sama Grice dari beberapa jenis maksim. Adapun
pematuhan maksim kuantitas sebanyak 8 tuturan, maksim kualitas sebanyak 9 tuturan, maksim relevansi sebanyak 6 tuturan, maksim cara sebanyak 8 tuturan. Adapun pelanggaran prinsip kerjasama Grice dalam novel Laut Bercerita telah ditemukan beberapa data.
Adapun bentuk pelanggaran pada maksim kuantitas sebanyak 2
tuturan, pelanggaran maksim kualitas sebanyak 2 tuturan,
pelanggaran maksim relevansi sebanyak 1 tuturan, pelanggaran
maksim cara sebanyak 1 tuturan Berdasarkan analisis data yang ditemukan paling banyak terdapat pada pematuhan prinsip kerja sama Grice yaitu maksim kualitas.

The purpose of this study is to describe the compliance and violation of the principle of cooperation in the novel Laut Bercerita. The theory used in this study is the theory of the Grice Cooperation Principle related to compliance and violation of the Grice cooperation principle, there are four
kinds of maxims, namely quality maxim (MKL), quantity maxim (MKN), relevance maxim (MR), and method maxim (MC). In this study, qualitative descriptive research methods were used. The source of this research data is in the form of a storytelling sea novel. Data collection techniques used in Collecting data using documentation, read and record techniques. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive, because the data is in the form of dialogue contained in the novel Laut Bercerita. The results of research have found some compliance with Grice's principle
of cooperation from several types of maxims. The compliance of the quantity maxim is 8 utterances, the quality maxim is 9 utterances, the relevance maxim is 6 utterances, the method maxim is 8 utterances. As for the violation of Grice's principle of cooperation in the novel The Sea of
Storytelling, some data have been found. The form of violation of the quantity maxim of 2 utterances, violations of the quality maxim of 2 utterances, violations of the relevance maxim of 1 utterance, violations of the method maxim of 1 utterance. Based on data analysis, the most found is in compliance with Grice's cooperation principle, namely the quality maxim.
