Perkembangan mode di Indonesia semakin berkembang seiring dengan maraknya hiasan-hiasan busana yang semakin bervariasi, diantaranya berupa hiasan bordir. Bordir merupakan salah satu seni yang erat kaitannya dengan seni rupa dan digemari oleh masyarakat dari masyarakat kalangan atas hingga masyarakat kalangan menengah kebawah dikarenakan keindahannya apabila diaplikasikan pada busana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil bordir aplikasi dan inkrustasi pada kain katun.
Metode ini menggunakan Pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan populasi dan sampel Mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya Prodi Pendidikan Vokasional Kesejahteraan Keluarga Konsentrasi Tata Busana sebanyak 62 responden angkatan 2019-2021. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan 1) Dokumentasi 2) Kuesioner 3) Eksperimen. Analisis data yang menggunakan SPSS dengan Uji T. Jika nilai probabilitas signifikan ≤ 0,05 maka hipotesis ditolak. Hipotesis ditolak memiliki arti bahwa variabel bebas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat. Jika probabilitas signifikan ≥ 0,05 maka hipotesis diterima. Yang memiliki arti bahwa variabel bebas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat.
Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa hasil Uji T Berdasarkan perhitungan data menggunakan perhitungan SPSS yang telah jelaskan pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil uji t yang menunjukkan hasil nilai signinfikan pada hasil bordir aplikasi pada kain katun adalah 9,967 > 2,001 nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima yang artinya bahwa hasil bordir aplikasi sangat baik apabila digunakan pada kain katun.

The development of fashion in Indonesia is growing along with the rise of increasingly varied clothing ornaments, including embroidered ornaments. Embroidery is an art that is closely related to fine art and is loved by people from the upper class to the lower middle class because of its beauty when applied to clothing. This study aims to compare the results of application embroidery and incrustation on cotton fabrics.
This method uses a quantitative approach with a population and sample of PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya Vocational Education Study Program Family Welfare Concentration of Dressmaking as many as 62 respondents from the 2019-2021 class. Data collection techniques used 1) Documentation 2) Questionnaires 3) Experiments. Data analysis using SPSS with T test. If the probability value is significant ≤ 0.05 then the hypothesis is rejected. The hypothesis is rejected means that the independent variable has no significant effect on the dependent variable. If the probability is significant ≥ 0.05 then the hypothesis is accepted. Which means that the independent variable has a significant effect on the dependent variable.
The results of the study stated that the results of the T test Based on the calculation of the data using the SPSS calculation which has been explained in this study, the results of the t test showed that the results of the significant value in the results of application embroidery on cotton cloth were 9.967 > 2.001, the calculated t value was greater than t table, so it could be concluded that Ha is accepted, which means that the application embroidery results are very good when used on cotton fabrics.
