Dalam Tata rias merupakan unsur seni rupa yang yang teraplikasikan pada penampilan seseorang dengan mengunnakan bantuan kosmetik agar dapat mempercantik wajah. Karena dengan bantuan make up maka akan menjadi elegan dan lebih percaya diri. Tata rias sendiri memiliki berbagai macam Teknik, seperti halnya Teknik mempercantik keseluruhan wajah atau hanya bagian tertentu pada wajah. Terdapat Teknik alis serat menggunakan pomade, eyebrow powder, concealer, kuas rias, spoolie brush, kuas rias, sisir alis. Sedangkan Teknik alis klasik pensil alis, concealer, spoolie brush¸kuas rias.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui alat dan bahan yang di perlukan saat pengaplikasian teknik alis serat dan Teknik alis klasik. 2) Untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan dari teknik alis serat dan Teknik alis klasik. 3) Untuk mengetahui hasil perbedaan dari teknik alis serat dan Teknik alis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dimana dengan cara Teknik pengumpulan data, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Teknik alis dengan menggunakan teknik alis serat menggunakan pomade feather dan eyebrow compact powder terbukti lebih banyak diminati mahasiswa konsentrasi rias, hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan data mean rata rata respon dengan skor 73% dipilih oleh menggunakan pomade feather dan eyebrow compact powder ini membuktikan bahwa teknik alis menggunakan pomade feather dan eyebrow compact powder lebih banyak dibanding teknik alis klasik menggunakan pensil viva yaitu sebanyak 37%. Dari hasil yang telah diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk alis pada wajah yang berbentuk oval, cocok untuk menggunakan alis serat yang dinilai mampu lebih mempercantik seseorang yaitu dengan menggunakan alat pomade feather dan eyebrow compact powder.

In Makeup is an element of fine art that is applied to a person's appearance by using cosmetic assistance in order to beautify the face. Because with the help of makeup, it will become elegant and more confident. Cosmetology itself has a variety of techniques, as well as techniques to beautify the entire face or only certain parts of the face. There is a fiber eyebrow technique using pomade, eyebrow powder, concealer, makeup brush, spoolie brush, makeup brush, eyebrow comb. While the classic eyebrow technique is eyebrow pencil, concealer, spoolie brush makeup brush.

The objectives of this study are: 1) To find out the tools and materials needed when applying fiber eyebrow techniques and classical eyebrow techniques. 2) To describe the difference between the fiber eyebrow technique and the classical eyebrow technique. 3) To know the difference results of the fiber eyebrow technique and the eyebrow technique. This research uses qualitative methods, which are by means of data collection techniques, questionnaires, and documentation. The eyebrow technique using fiber eyebrow techniques using pomade feather and eyebrow compact powder proved to be more in demand by students of makeup concentration, this was evidenced by the averagemean response data with a score of 73% selected by using pomade feather and eyebrow compact powder proved that the eyebrow technique using pomade feather and Eyebrow compact powder is more than the classic eyebrow technique using a viva pencil, which is as much as 37%. From the results that have been obtained, it can be concluded that the shape of the eyebrows on the oval-shaped face, suitable for using fiber eyebrows that are considered able to further beautify a person, namely by using pomade feathers and eyebrow compact powder.
