Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the challenges faced by EFL Graduates from PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya. This research was conducted to discover what skills they must have to be able to work as non-teachers. It is hoped that it will later be used as one of the evaluation resources for associated parties.
This research used a qualitative case study as a design to explore the various skills needed to overcome the challenges faced by EFL graduates from Adi Buana PGRI University who work as non-teachers. The subjects of this research were three EFL graduates from PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya. The data was collected through individual interviews with the type of semi-structured interviews, which were transcribed and analyzed using thematic analysis. Based on the data of the research, there are 4 different skills that must be mastered by EFL graduates to be able to work as non-teachers. 1) Skills in using Microsoft Word and Excel, 2) Adaptation in Workplace, 3) Having Communication Skills, 4) Providing Good Service and Managing the Time
