Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Self-Esteem dengan Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) pada peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 1 Menganti Gresik. Jenis penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun desain penelitian kuantitatif yang digunakan adalah desain korelasional yang bertujuan untuk memprediksi nilai-nilai dan model pengaruh hubungan antar variabel. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan dua skala. Adapun sampel penelitian yaitu sebanyak 389 peserta didik kelas XII. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji heteroskedatisitas dan uji multikolinieritas. Analisis data menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 25.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara self-esteem dan fear of missing out memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan yaitu 0,312 dan 0,000. Terdapat hubungan linier antara self-esteem dengan fear of missing out secara positif dan signifikan, dengan nilai Thitung sebesar 4,654 > Ttabel sebesar 1,966 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang artinya variabel self-esteem berhubungan terhadap variabel FoMO. Self-esteem menyumbang sebesar 5,3% hubungan terhadap perilaku FoMO peserta didik.

This study aims to determine the relationship between Self-Esteem and Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in class XII students of SMAN 1 Menganti Gresik. The type of research in this study is quantitative research. The quantitative research design used is a correlational design that aims to predict the values and influence models of the relationship between variables. The data collection method in this study was to use two scales. The research sample was 389 class XII students. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis with prerequisite analysis tests include normality test, heteroscedaticity test and multicollinearity test. Data analysis using the help of the SPSS 25.0 for windows program. The results showed that the relationship between self-esteem and fear of missing out has a positive and significant relationship, namely 0.312 and 0.000. There is a linear relationship between self-esteem and fear of missing out positively and significantly, with a Thitung value of 4.654> Ttable of 1.966 and a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the self-esteem variable is related to the FoMO variable. Self-esteem contributes 5.3% of the relationship to students' FoMO behavior.
