Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memverifikasi peningkatan prestasi belajar menulis dengan menggunakan media video 360 derajat di Kelas X-09 SMA AL-ISLAM KRIAN. Peneliti melakukan Pre-Test untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis siswa sebelum diberikan media video 360 derajat. Hanya 6 siswa yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Kemudian peneliti melakukan post-Test I yaitu memberikan media video 360 derajat selama proses pembelajaran. Hanya 15 siswa yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin memberikan perlakuan yang menyenangkan dalam pembelajaran menulis melalui media video 360 derajat. Hanya ada 8 siswa yang tidak memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM).
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SMA AL-ISLAM KRIAN Kelas X-09 yang terdiri dari 40 siswa (26 perempuan dan 14 laki-laki). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi, tes, dan angket. Observasi dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tindakan mereka telah tercapai. Tes ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa banyak pemahaman siswa dalam menulis bahasa Inggris. Kuesioner diberikan untuk mengetahui tanggapan dari siswa. Media yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar selama penelitian adalah video 360 derajat dan bahan yang digunakan adalah teks deskriptif
Pada Pre-Test terdapat 6 siswa (15%) yang mendapat nilai 75 ke atas. Pada Post Test I terdapat 15 siswa (37%) yang mendapat nilai 75 ke atas. Sedangkan pada Post-Test II, 32 (80%) dinyatakan lulus KKM. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video 360 derajat dapat membantu siswa kelas X-09 SMA AL-ISLAM KRIAN meningkatkan keterampilan menulisnya.

This study aimed to verify the increase on study writing achievement using 360 degree videos media in Class X-09 SMA AL-ISLAM KRIAN. The researcher conducted a Pre-Test to determine students writing abilities before being given 360 degree video media. Only 6 students met the minimum competencies criteria (KKM). Then the researcher conducted a post-Test I, namely providing 360 degree video media during the learning process. Only 15 students met the minimum competencies criteria(KKM). Therefore, researcher wanted to provide a pleasant treatment in learning to write through 360 degree video media. There were only 8 students who did not meet the minimum competencies criteria (KKM).
The research method used was classroom action research conducted at SMA AL-ISLAM KRIAN Class X-09 consisting of 40 students (26 girls and 14 boys). The instruments used were observation guidelines, tests, and questionnaires. Observations were made aiming to find out how their actions had been achieved. The test aimed to find out how much students understand in writing English. Questionnaires were given to find out the responses from students. The media used as teaching material during the research was 360 degree video and the material used was descriptive text
In the Pre-Test there were 6 students (15%) who scored 75 and above. In Post Test I there were 15 students (37%) who scored 75 and above. Meanwhile, in the Post-Test II, 32 (80%) passed the KKM. With that, it can be concluded that 360 degree video media can help class X-09 SMA AL-ISLAM KRIAN improve their writing skills.
