Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kemampuan life skill sederhana siswa kelompok A di TK AL-HIKMAH Rungkut-Surabaya yang belum berkembang. Kurangnya Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) di TK AL-HIKMAH salah satu faktor penghambat perkembangan life skill anak. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh media busy book terhadap life skill sederhana siswa kelompok A di TK AL-HIKMAH Rungkut-Surabaya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Eksperimental Design dalam bentuk One Group Pretest-posttest Design. Sampel sejumlah 20 siswa kelompok A di TK AL-HIKMAH Rungkut Surabaya. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi partisipatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji beda dari hasil pretest dan posttest.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui nilai t-hitung adalah 14,25 besar dari t-tabel 1,729 untuk taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan 2,539 untuk taraf signifikansi 0,01 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media busy book berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap life skill sederhana siswa kelompok A di TK AL-HIKMAH Rungkut-Surabaya.

The background of this research is that the simple life skills of group A students in TK AL-HIKMAH Rungkut-Surabaya have not yet developed. Lack of Educational Game Tools (APE) in TK AL-HIKMAH is one of the inhibiting factors in the development of children's life skills. The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the effect of busy book media on the simple life skills of group A students in TK AL-HIKMAH Rungkut-Surabaya.
This study used a quantitative research method with a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. A sample of 20 group A chidrens at TK AL-HIKMAH Rungkut Surabaya. Data was collected by participatory observation techniques. The data analysis technique used was a different test from the results of the pretest and posttest.
Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the t-count value is 14,25 greater than t-table 1.729 for a significance level of 0.05 and 2.539 for a significance level of 0.01 so it can be concluded that the media busy book has a very significant effect on the simple life skills of group A students in TK AL-HIKMAH Rungkut Surabaya.
