Abstract

This studied provides an example of how students perceive the taught style of an English teacher. That research was specifically focused on explored how the impact of a teacher's taught style on student learned processes. The design of this studied used descriptive qualitative. This data was obtained through unstructured interviews. Source of data the form of interviewed subject. They were students of Universitas PGRI ADI BUANA Surabaya, in the English Language Education Department two students of batch 2019 and six students from batch 2020. Supported data used Focus Group Discussion (FGD) took from Universitas Adi Buana Surabaya Language Education Department six students of batch 2020. Data collected technique were verbally transcribed and analyzed descriptively. The data analyzed technique in this studied thematic analysis. The result focused refers to the problems faced by English students when facing the characteristics of teacher teaching in the classroom. then, the motivation refers to the impact of the characteristics of teaching style on student motivation.
